Here are 6 pointers from the wise Daniel R. Levinson himself on how to resolve issues in the healthcare compliance industry.

Thought Leaders- 

Thought leaders know how to use all of their resources in order to solve a particular problem. Instead of using three resources here for this problem, and then using two resources here for this problem, be a thought leader and focus all of your time, energy and resources on one problem at a time. 

Customize-

Customize, don't be a Parrot. Parroting leads to potential risk. It is important that every compliance plan is different. Things need to be customized. The same size shoe doesn't fit for everyone and neither does the same compliance plan. Personalization is imperative to success. No two compliance programs should be the same. Issues can be prevented by ensuring a working compliance program as well as ensuring your compliance officials are being listened to. It is a flaw in management when compliance officers aren't given a seat at the table and/or not part of the overall company compliance discussion.

Oh, Valentine’s Day.

Some love it, some hate it, and some just put up with it to make their loved ones happy. Stats state that nearly 62% of Americans will buy cards, send flowers, and give candy to celebrate this very popular holiday – with $35 billion heart-shaped chocolates sold, $1 billion V-day cards sent, 220 million roses produced, and a whopping $20 billion spent by Americans on this day of love.

Regardless of whether you think Valentine’s Day is highly commercialized (you’re right by the way), or you get a little SAD when this love day comes around (a.k.a. Single Appreciation Day), or if you’ve been planning for the day for weeks now – the root of Valentine’s Day has evolved over several centuries with years of tradition to back it up.

Simply put, a day all about loving people is really a nice concept. But sometimes I can't help but think we could squeeze a lot more meaning out if it by putting a little extra thought into it.
